It is official!!

Today it is official!!  Sunday, 31 January 2016, we have been set apart as full-time missionaries for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  Our Stake President, Richard Harris, of the Santa Clara Heights Stake, set us apart.  Both of us received really nice blessings specific to this mission. We had a really nice visit with him and then he went and asked another couple to come in and join us.  The couple had recently returned from their mission and President Harris thought it would be fun to have them chat with us for a bit.  They were originally going to South Africa but ended up in New Zealand.  We were slotted to serve in New Zealand but, since Al has a history of heart disease, we were not able to get visas to serve there.  We went to London instead!  We will have to just go to New Zealand as tourists!!
